A very local place outside the city buzz, a 10 min walk from where I was staying, in the outskirts of the city of Salzburg, near the Untersberg mountain. Make sure to reserve before hand, since it’s only open on specific days and sometimes have private events. I had to try their specialty, the owner recommended the stuffed schnitzel, pork is usually way to salty for my taste but the dish was absolutely delicious, washed down with a Radler. Quite a good portion, still went for a desert though could only eat a few bites, only to say I have tried the local desert, the Kaiserschamarrn, basically scrambled pancake with raisins.

Located 20ish minutes away from downtown Salzburg, they offer authentic Austrian cuisine.
Steak dishes were flavorful. Salads were nicely seasoned. Wine’s after-taste perfectly complemented the entree dishes.
Another pros: there are ample AirBnb around this area and the area offers beautiful scenery. Highly recommend visiting this area just to dine here
When you come into the building, you have to go upstairs to find the restaurant. Place was packed when we came in. Food was great, service as well.
An absolutely wonderful meal. The beef was delicious, the potatoes cooked perfectly, and the dumplings were moist. To top it all off, the blueberry pancakes were fantastic. The restaurant has a great vibe and feels like a country kitchen...it’s homey and inviting. The staff were great too. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Such a lovely place with true Austrian cuisine. After turning up on the spot they made us feel soo welcome and treated us to such delights. Well worth a visit if you are In the area

Ate a schnitzel and a half, the Salzburger Schnitzel with mushrooms, onions and speck was great and a challenge, the kid-sized turkey schnitzel came with a wonderful red berry marmelade and was also very good. Thanks!
An interesting blend of restaurant and horse riding centre - which can be seen from the inside of the restaurant. Typical local looks and food - both very nice. We had a schnitzel and trout and both were superb.
